JOE'S JUKAI
On Saturday November 23rd Joe Pustai, a member of our sangha for the last five years, received the precepts. He is an active member serving as primary doan, IT guy, and regular volunteer serving meals at the homeless shelter. Congratulations Joe.

Joe, Joel, and Dean serving dinner at 2100 Lakeside, the men's homeless shelter. This is a volunteer opportunity open to all sangha members every third Monday of each month.
MEDITATION PROGRAM AT Y HAVEN
Dean Williams runs a weekly meditation group for the residents of Y Haven a men's residential recovery center.
UPCOMING EVENTS IN 2025 ;
On September 26th and 27th Ben Connelly from Minnesota Zen Meditation Society will be visting and presenting a public talk on Friday night and dharma talks for zazenkai on Saturday on his new book, Inside The Flower Garland Sutra.
On October 4th and 5th Dean Williams and Barbara Meido Anderson, guiding teacher at Oan Zendo will be presenting at a retreat at The Center of Solitude in Belmont New York: The Heart Sutra: Practicing the Liberating Insight. Details about the retreat can be found at www.CenterofSolitude.org.
