MEDITATION PROGRAM AT Y HAVEN
Dean Williams runs a weekly meditation group for the residents of Y Haven a men's residential recovery center.
PROTECTING DEMOCRACY FORUM
On Saturday September 6th in place of our normal Saturday sitting we cosponsored and seven of our members attended the "Protecting Democracy" forum held at Pilgrim Congregational UCC church in Tremont.
VISITING TEACHER
Ben Connelly, a visiting teacher from Minnesota Zen Meditation Center, presented a public talk on Friday September 26 at CRZC on his new book, Inside the Flower Garland Sutra. On Saturday the 27th he presented talks in our day long zazenkai. Ben is a very gifted teacher and a long time friend of our sangha.

THE HEART SUTRA: PRACTICING THE LIBERATING INSIGHT
On October 4th and 5th Dean Williams and Barbara Meido Anderson, guiding teacher at Oan Zendo will be presenting at a retreat at The Center of Solitude in Belmont New York. It is titled, The Heart Sutra: Practicing the Liberating Insight. Details about the retreat can be found at www.CenterofSolitude.org.
